Meet Tracy for an inside look at Xalient’s SIAM services

What is your current role at Xalient and how long have you been part of the Xalient family?
Customer Success Manager for a SIAM Customer, 1.5 years.

Describe a typical day in your role?
I’m sure this gets said a lot, but the reality is that with my customer there is no such thing as a typical day other than it’s typical that whatever you have planned is not how the day will go.

How do you see the future of SIAM evolving, and what role do you think Xalient will play in shaping it?
Engaging a SIAM partner is the service option of choice for businesses that want to have fixed costs and be lean in the number of employed staff, but want / need to have a level of managed service to meet their business goals. Xalient have the skills and experience to meet the technical requirements of an IT engagement, add SIAM to that and Xalient can provide an outsourced solution to delight even the most challenging of customers.

What do you enjoy most about working within the SIAM team at Xalient?
The SIAM team are a joy to work with, it’s very busy, but everyone looks out for each other and we have great leadership.

How would you describe the team culture at Xalient?
Inclusive, friendly, driven.

What advice would you give to someone considering a career at Xalient?
Be prepared to roll your sleeves up and get stuck into whatever comes your way.

Share an interesting fact about yourself that others might not know.
My sister and I are both color blind, which is genetically quite rare in females and for us both to be affected is pretty unusual.

Are you into any specific tech gadgets or innovations?
Despite having had a bit of a technical background, I’m not really into gadgets but I do make use of apps like ChatGPT from time to time.

What’s the last book you read or movie/TV show you enjoyed?
The Gentlemen, Guy Ritchie Netflix Series

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
Nazca Desert in Southern Peru to see the Nazca Lines

What are your must-have apps for productivity or relaxation?
I never go anywhere without my Kindle App – I read so many books.

What’s an item or possession you cherish the most?
My wedding ring – hand made for me by my lovely artisan jeweler friend using diamonds from rings handed down to my husband.
