Earlier this month, our CEO, Sherry Vaswani, COO, Mark, and Chief Culture Officer, Annie Davies got the opportunity to see our fantastic colleagues in person while hosting our regular all-hands meeting live from Goa, India! We spoke with Vivek Gupta, Security Support Lead, to learn more about the experience!
How did you feel about the recent visit from our senior leadership team?
It was such a special occasion having the Xalient SLT team here for their first visit! We were all eagerly looking forward to it. With Sherry, Mark, and Annie in town, we had the chance to ask questions about our roles, discuss direction and growth plans, and learn more about the business. Plus, we were able to provide feedback on challenges and suggest solutions, and it was reassuring to see Sherry, Mark, and Annie acknowledge and consider our input. And of course, meeting them in person was a great bonus!
What were your initial thoughts and expectations before the visit, and did they change after the experience?
Prior to their visit, I was hoping that we would be able to learn more about Xalient, how we are performing, our development and future goals, etc. But it was much more than that! Sherry, Mark, and Annie not only explained everything in layman’s terms, but they also shared their specific ambitions for our team in India and expressed their pride in us all. It was also refreshing how they handled team questions, treating everyone as ‘old friends’ and exhibiting the zero-hierarchy structure that we are so happy to have at Xalient.
Can you share any specific moments or interactions from the visit that left an impression on you?
I understand Sherry, Mark, and Annie have busy schedules, but throughout their stay here, they all made sure to spend as much time as possible with the team, interacting with them and getting to know them on a personal level, as well as how Xalient can help them advance their careers. Their efforts kept the entire team interested, which left an indelible impression on me.
It sounds like it was a memorable experience for the team and we look forward to continuing this journey together to our collective success!
